The Success Story of Rotary Club of Sangli

Rotary came to India in 1919 with the formation of the Calcutta club just after 14 years after it’s founding in the United States of America. It was in December 1948 that little after India’s Independence the first Rotary Club was established in Sangli as Rotary Club of Sangli and it was sponsored by Rotary Club of Kolhapur.
